About Us

CineMaxie is an independent film guide that brings the 250 most beloved movies in cinema history together in one place. Our goal is to answer the question “What should I watch tonight?” not with yet another list, but with content that is genuinely worth reading.

What we do

For every film on the list, our editors rewatch the movie and write an original review. Each review explains why the film matters, which performances stand out, its strengths and weaknesses and the kind of viewer it will appeal to. Alongside the review you will find a short synopsis, the main cast and actor biographies.

Editorial principles

• Originality: Our reviews are our own assessments and are never copied from other sites.
• Transparency: Whenever a synopsis comes from a third-party source, we credit it.
• Spoiler care: We avoid revealing key twists in our reviews.
• Freshness: We revisit our content regularly and show the last update date on every page.

Cinema in three languages

CineMaxie is published in Turkish, English and German. Each language edition is prepared separately for its readers.
