Susan Backlinie, born September 1, 1946, in California, is an American actress and stuntwoman. She played Chrissie, the shark's first victim in the opening scene of 'Jaws'. This scene became one of the most iconic opening scenes in cinema history. She was a professional swimmer and stuntwoman.
