Back to the Future (1985)

Back to the Future is a 1985 American science fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film stars Michael J. Fox as teenager Marty McFly, who is accidentally sent back in time to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his eccentric friend, Dr. Emmett 'Doc' Brown (Christopher Lloyd). The film became a massive cultural phenomenon, spawning two sequels and various merchandise. It is considered one of the greatest and most influential films of the 1980s.
